Management Trainee
As a Management Trainee with CTLC, you will have the opportunity to learn about and work in numerous divisions throughout the company during your 6 month trainee period. These divisions include:
- Logistics
- Operations
- Transportation
- Sales
While working in these divisions, each trainee will spend time in the office and "out in the field", where they will see first hand how our business runs on a day-to-day basis. This, combined with the knowledge gained from working along side veteran employees, will enable trainees to hit the ground running upon appointment of their first Management assignment and lay the foundation for a successful career with the CGB Family.
Logistics Manager – Fertilizer Services
CGB Fertilizer is a subsidiary of CGB Enterprises, Inc., a large diverse global company engaged in trade and logistics activities. The organization markets bulk fertilizer and provides supporting logistics services. Product movements are carried out via Ship, Barge, Rail and Truck, integrated with Storage and Transfer Terminals.
Job Location - Louisville KY area
Basic Job Description - Manage the assets and relationships that are critical to the success of the company’s trade and logistics services. Specifically, oversee the transportation and storage of bulk dry and liquid fertilizers necessary to service a market area throughout North America.
Primary Job Duties:
- Manage all aspects of warehouse activities
- Secure transportation freight and lease agreements
- Identify and pursue third party commercial opportunities
- Engage best logistics management practices and systems
- Develop strong relationships with all service providers
- Incorporate safety management system culture in all aspects
Job Requirements
Operations / Logistics management experience in one of the following industries:
- Wholesale fertilizers
- Minerals Logistics
- Bulk Materials Management
Min/Max Experience Required? 5-10 years of relevant experience
Degree Required? yes
Travel Required? Yes
