CGB Fertilizer
began as Jeffersonville River Terminal (JRT), a joint venture with a fertilizer producer in the mid-1990s and was named for its location and structure. In the early 2000s, CGB acquired the full interests of the venture and has steadily expanded the business. From the original location there are now eight warehouse sites integrated in the CGB Ferilizer system.
Providing competitively-priced, top quality dry and liquid fertilizer products is another way CGB Enterprises serves agricultural communities, and some industrial users, in the U.S. and Canada - adding overall value to its grain services. CGB not only works to finance, merchandise, sell and transport grain products, but also is active on the front-end with services and products - like CGB Fertilizer - to increase crop production and manage risk.
